How to check NIMCET 2025 Result

Follow the steps below to check the result of NIMCET 2025:

  • Go to the NIMCET result 2025 official website - nimcet.in.

  • Click on the ‘result link’ on the web page.

  • Enter the hall ticket number and password.

  • The result will appear on the screen.

NIMCET Qualifying Criteria 2025

Candidates who will be shortlisted and called for NIMCET 2025 counselling and seat allotment as per the prescribed qualifying criteria. They can check the details below to know about the qualification criteria of NIMCET 2025.

  • The marks secured by the candidates in each subject of the question paper will be multiplied to make a maximum of 1000 marks.

    • Mathematics by a factor of 3.

    • Computer Awareness by a factor of 2.

    • Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning by a factor of 1.5.

    • English by a factor of 1.

  • Candidates who secure a higher rank as per the maximum marks will be ranked higher.

  • Tie-Breaking Factors - In case if two or more candidates get the same marks, it will be resolved by following the rules,

    • Candidates securing higher marks in Mathematics will be ranked higher.

    • If still tie exists, the one with high marks in logical reasoning will be ranked higher.

    • If there is a tie again, the candidate who has obtained higher marks in computer awareness will be ranked higher.

    • If the tie still persists, then the candidate elder in age will be given preference.

  • Candidates who have secured zero or negative marks in Mathematics or overall will be disqualified from NIMCET 2025 admissions.

NIMCET 2025 Counselling

The exam authorities will open the registration and choice filling for NIMCET 2025 counselling from June 30, 2025. There will be three rounds of counselling and seat allotments for NIMCET 2025. The respective candidates will have to submit the required proofs in the form of a qualification document on the scheduled date and venue.

Candidates need to report In-person directly at the venue during NIMCET Counselling 2025 for three rounds. According to previous year notification, a total of 809 MCA seats were allocated across the participating NITs based on the rank obtained by the candidate in the NIMCET 2025 exam.

NIMCET Seat Allotment 2025

The authority will begin the NIMCET seat allotment 2025 process after the conclusion of the counselling procedure. Candidates will have to check seat allotment status, pay fees and upload original documents online. Also, they will need to download the seat allotment letter and report at the respective reporting centre. Three rounds will be held for seat allotment of NIMCET 2025 along with one additional round for filling vacant seats.

Candidates allotted seats in the first two rounds will have to log in to the official website and then pay the Initial fee of Rs.10000 in online mode only. After that, they will be provided with the seat allotment letter. The candidate will be able to opt for up-gradation in the 2nd round or accept the seat allotted. After allotment, they need to report to the allotted institutes for the admission process as per the schedule.
